Macra is holding a public consultation process ahead of making their submission to the Commission on Generational Renewal. The first consultation event takes place in Monaghan Town tonight and like those to be held in Adare, Co. Limerick on Wednesday, the 15th and Kilkenny on Thursday, will start at 7:30pm. The public meeting will take place at The Hillgrove Hotel and they are open to everyone even non-members and should be of of interest to anyone who is concerned about the future of farming in Ireland and succession.
