"Love and forgiveness is the message of Easter."
That's according to Cavan priest, Father PJ Hughes, who adds that we "must be humble enough to seek Jesus' forgiveness".
The Mullahoran priest also says the hope of the resurrection can provide comfort to those who are suffering today.

He also encouraged people who have strayed from the Church to seek a return over Easter and acknowledge their need for forgiveness:
