Today's investment in the Lough Egish Food Park Expansion will create hundreds of jobs locally.
Earlier this morning € 585,810 was allocated to the park which services many local towns and villages in Monaghan including Shercock, Castleblayney, and Ballybay.
Fine Gael Councillor Sean Gilliland says that it will have a knock effect for other local businesses who operate within the food production sector, including benefits for HGV companies.
