A lorry driver faces court proceedings after trying to avoid a checkpoint in Cavan.
On Tuesday, Cavan Roads Policing Unit and the RSA were conducting HGV inspections.
A lorry driver tried to evade the checkpoint and it was found that he had never held a HGV license, has no insurance, and there was no CRVT on the tractor unit.
Elsewhere, a car was stopped and the motorist provided a false name and address, failed a road side fluid oral test, and had no license or insurance.
The motorist was arrested and charged to appear before court.
