19 artists across Cavan and Monaghan are taking part in Incognito 2023, Ireland's online art sale in aid of the Jack and Jill Foundation.
The event is taking place on Wednesday, April the 26th and local participants include Carmel O'Callaghan from Shercock; Anna Wiercioch from Lough Gowna; Sally-Ann Duffy from Bailieborough; and Breda McGuigan from Monaghan town.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Anna - a visual artist and photographer - said she has been greatly influenced by Mexican and Spanish art, and by the peace and tranquility in Gowna. She highlighted how this is her third year to participate in the Incognito fundraiser and creating art for others is inspiring for her.
Anna added it's a very worthy cause and she feels privileged to be one of the many inspiring artists participating in the initiative. Meanwhile, the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation is an Irish children's charity that funds and delivers in-home nursing care and respite support for children with severe to profound cognitive delay, up to the age of six.
Jack and Jill's mission is to empower parents to care for their child at home. The charity must raise over €6m per annum to keep its vital service going, and currently supports over 400 families with up to 80 hours of home nursing care per month at a cost of €1,440, or €17,280 per year.
