Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Philip Brady has urged locals to have their say on the local authority climate action plan. According to Cllr Brady, "every citizen of Cavan has a view on climate change and what we should be doing about it."
The plan will set out the mechanisms by which Cavan County Council will enhance climate resilience, increase energy efficiency, and reduce Greenhouse gas emissions Submissions can be made online before 4pm on Friday, 8th December. Alternatively, you can attend one of the remaining consultation drop-in clinics which will take place today at Virginia Library from 4-6pm.
