A Monaghan woman has won the Ulster 'CAREGiver' of the Year award. Arlene Gray from Castleblayney has been working with 'Home Instead' for over two years and earned the title after she was nominated by care teams in Cavan and Monaghan. Caroline Smith, Operations Manager at Home Instead Monaghan described Arlene's impact on her clients as "nothing short of amazing".
Caroline believes that Arlene's exceptional support, positive attitude, and excellent interactions with the office team, fellow CAREGivers, clients, and their families exemplifies her commitment and dedication to her profession.
She added that Arlene's "exceptional caregiving skills" have made her an invaluable asset to the team at Home Instead across Monaghan and Cavan. Judge Amanda Spencer, Chief People Officer of the Horizon Group, emphasised the remarkable testimonials and feedback from Arlene's colleagues, fellow CAREGivers, and, most importantly, her clients, underscoring her extraordinary impact as a CAREGiver.
