A local travel agent says they will be guided by NPHET as to where they send customers.
This comes as the decision on the Green List countries has been deferred until Taoiseach Michael Martin has returned home from Brussels.
Mark Clifford from O’Hanrahan Travel in Monaghan says that even with the publication of the list there is a lot of ambiguity, and there are questions over how to deal with people travelling North and South of the border having landed on the island.
He says that many of the popular destinations are unlikely to appear on the list, and generally there is not a huge appetite for foreign holidays at the moment.
