Mark Clifford the managing director with O 'Hanrahan travel in Monaghan Town says that since July business has picked up considerably with particular interest in skiing holidays.
The reopening of the US to Ireland has also had an impact on business and bookings.
However, despite this surge the sector is suffering due to a number of people leaving the industry over the course of the pandemic.
