Cavan-Monaghan's TDs have been criticised for not supporting a new bill which would set up another review into the North-South Interconnector.
Aontú is tabling the bill which would examine the overground and underground options for the project, as well as the compensation paid to people impacted.
The Taoiseach last month confirmed another review would take place but Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín says his party's review would go further in examining the project.
It comes as Eirgrid is today meeting with Councillors in Monaghan to discuss its future strategy.
Peadar Tóibín has accused local TDs of supporting those who oppose the project but then not following through on those promises in the Dáil.
