A local TD says strong relationships with MPs in Britain is key to helping mitigate Brexit issues.
The British and Irish Parliamentary Assembly met this week, its first time since the Covid-19 pandemic and the UK's exit from the European Union in January.
An Taoiseach Micheal Martin addressed the virtual meeting, saying it is more important than ever that all parties work together to maintain relationships and deliver on plans.
Co-Chair of the assembly, Brendan Smith said the concerns have changed since the founding of the group, but the objective remains the same.
