A local TD thinks there should have been an all island approach to Covid from the start.
Sinn Féin's Matt Carthy was reacting to the Covid figures in Northern Ireland where today another 391 people have tested positive.
New restrictions take effect today for two weeks North of the border- with non-essential shops closing, something Deputy Carthy thinks is 'bizzare', given that Ireland is moving to ease restrictions.
He says the lack of co-operation when it comes to the test and trace system both sides of the border has been a major problem.
