A local TD says the announcement of grants for the self-employed may not be enough to cover their losses.
Sinn Fein’s Matt Carthy has criticized the government for being overly bureaucratic when it comes to funding supports such as the July stimulus package, which he says could have done more for the economy.
He also says some sectors, such as local pubs, are still left without support at this time when they have been one of the hardest hit by the pandemic
