A local TD has called for truth and justice to be pursued for the victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings.
May 17th marked the 50th anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, where three co-organised car bombs exploded in Dublin and another in Monaghan shortly after.
Speaking at a memorial held in Monaghan Town, Cavan-Monaghan TD Pauline Tully demanded justice for the families of the victims.
The Sinn Féin TD said that this can be done by encouraging the British government to co-operate and release all relevant files it has on the case.
To this day, no individual has been convicted of the crime.
