A local TD has called for the government to prioritise the vaccination of school staff.
Some third class students will return to classrooms next Monday under the government's plan for re-opening, and Sinn Féin's Pauline Tully has welcomed a return to in-person education.
However, she says every effort must be made to ensure that this can happen in "as safe a manner as possible".
