A local darts enthusiast has outlined his support for 16-year-old Luke Littler ahead of tonight's final of the World Darts Championship. The teen darts sensation has certainly made a name for himself during his first ever world darts tournament and will now face Luke Humhpries in tonight's final at Alexandra Palace in London.
Local man Gary McQuillan is the Chairman of Monaghan Darts. Speaking on today's Joe Finnegan Show, he described the 16-year-old as a "superstar" and "one to watch" in the future.
Gary who has recently set-up a darts youth group in Monaghan also believes that Luke Littler's performance in this tournament and his potential win will help "inspire" other young people to take up the sport.
