A local student thinks a decision on the leaving cert will be a relief.
Rebecca Livingstone, a Transition Year student from Beech Hill in Monaghan, sits on the ISSU and says she understands why the Minister decided to go with the traditional leaving cert.
However, she also acknowledged that it wasn't what students had wanted but hopes that it at least provides certainty and reassurance for the coming months.
