A local spirits maker has donated more than 10,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to the Irish Wheelchair Association.
Old Carrick Mill has converted its distillery capacity to the production of hand sanitizer in response to the covid-19 pandemic, and its donation to the Irish Wheelchair Association is worth over €50,000.
The distillery says it's worked around the clock to formulate a safe and effective product and to make it available local organisations that are in need.
The Irish Wheelchair Foundation says the donation will help keep its frontline staff and members safe during this difficult time.
