The manager of a Co Monaghan service station will be among the representatives to address this afternoon's Joint Committee on the rising cost of fuel.
Raylene McCaughey is the Manager of McCaughey's 24hr Service Station in Monaghan, and will appear alongside representatives from organisations like AA Ireland and the Irish Petrol Retailers Association.
The President of the Road Haulage Association and coach operators will also address the Joint Committee on Transport and Communications.
Committee Cathaoirleach, Deputy Kieran O'Donnell, said the Committee will strive to "ensure that all elements of any price reductions, including excise duties decreases, are passed consistently onto hard-pressed businesses and consumers".
It comes as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has revealed its received almost 200 complaints about fuel price gouging in the past two weeks.
