The Nuremore Hotel in Carrickmacross has paid it's staff one week's wages over the last couple of days.
This is despite the fact that there are now a number of employees who are waiting for three or more week's pay.
Senator Robbie Gallagher described the plight of staff at the hotel as "horrible" when he once again raised the matter in Seanad Eireann on Wednesday.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Senator Gallagher said that staff are no longer able to make contact with the owners. He called on the proprietors to do "the honourable thing" and sell the hotel and country club to an investor who is prepared to make a success of the business. Senator Gallagher added that the Government needs to put a mechanism in place, to ensure that staff can never be treated again, like staff have been for the last three months, at the Nuremore Hotel.
