A local screenwriter says Covid-19 has impacted the way the film industry can operate.
Mark McNally from Glaslough is a freelance writer, whose work has featured in Hot Press and in Derry Girls, and he says the pandemic has taken the personal aspect out of the job.
While, he acknowledges that writing can continue, many production companies are nervous to develop work especially as the ability to meet writers in person is limited.
Mark is encouraging aspiring and young writers in the region to use this time to develop their work and research opportunities but hopes normality will resume in the film industry soon:
