A local production company owner says the need to continue with insurance payments during lockdowns has had a major impact on operators.
Vincent Macklin, from Panic Hire Sound and Light, says that insurance companies insisting on renewals despite the lack of events has added pressure to those in the industry trying to stay afloat.
He says that there is no clarity on timelines for companies like theirs, but he believes that small sporting events and agricultural shows should be allowed to go ahead this summer.
