A local Principal says she's "horrified" at the delay in releasing this year's leaving cert results.
The Education Minister has said the delay is necessary to ensure the integrity of the calculated grades process.
Grades now won't be available until September 7th, three weeks later than usual.
However, both the CAO and UCAS have committed to issuing offers on September 11th.
Principal of St Louis Secondary School in Monaghan Margaret Conlon says there's no reason students should be made wait:
Students are also concerned about impact the delay will have on the hunt for accommodation.
Students need to log onto their student portal on Monday to confirm they still wish to receive a calculated grade.
Earlier, local Senator Robbie Gallagher had called for the Leaving Cert results to be made available online. He said it would mean students don't have to travel to schools to collect their results.
