A planning application has been submitted to Monaghan County Council for a
wind turbine with a maximum height of 130 meters.
If planning is approved the wind turbine would be located at
Greaghlatacapple, Corduff, Carrickmacross, in Co.Monaghan
The purposed development would consist of an electricity generating wind
turbine with hub height of 80 metres and a maximum tip height of 130 metres
Frank McNally has applied to the county council for the turbine to be
installed along with a hardstanding area, site entrance and access road
together with all ancillary site development works.
County planners are due to make a decision on the application at the end of
February.
