The talented group will perform their piece of "A Deep Ravine - Reflections on a Divided Ireland" at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

Excitement is well and truly building for those involved with Music Generation Cavan-Monaghan ahead of their landmark performance this evening. The talented group will perform their piece of "A Deep Ravine - Reflections on a Divided Ireland" at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. The piece tells the story of life on the border, offering a profound reflection on the era of partition and providing deeper insights into the significant historical events of that time. Local performers will take to the national stage later today at 6pm. Maggie Maguire is Co-ordinator for Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan. Speaking to Northern Sound, Maggie said that this event marks a significant achievement for Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan. She highlighted her "pride" for the young musicians who have captured the essence of this project and really bring the border story to life:

Maggie continued; "We are delighted to bring this performance to the National Concert Hall after amazing performances in both Monaghan and Derry. We are very proud of our young musicians who have captured the essence of this project and really bring the border story to life. A Deep Ravine" is not just a performance; it is a cultural and historical journey, crafted to resonate deeply with audiences and to celebrate the rich, diverse heritage of the border regions."
