Local Minister Heather Humphreys has passed on her well wishes to those elected to the 34th Dáil. The next Dáil sitting is scheduled for January 22nd and according to Minister Humphreys she is "hopeful" that the next Government will be closer to forming by them. Minister Humphreys was asked about her thoughts on regional independents making a government with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael. She told Northern Sound that when you can find partners in government that are "like-minded" it's much easier to do business with them. Overall, Minister Humphreys said she has "no doubt" they will put together a programme for government that will serve this country well for the next 5 years.
