Local Minister Heather Humphreys says the government stands in solidarity with Ukraine following the "unwarranted and unjustified attack by Russia".
Minister Humphreys added that she never thought we would see these scenes again in Europe.

Meanwhile Ireland has officially lifted all visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens to enter the country, and European leaders have agreed new measures that will target 70% of Russian banks along with assets, industry and other financial services.
