A Local Minister says that a hard border must be avoided in Ireland.
While Minister Heather Humphreys wouldn’t be drawn on whether or not a no deal would definitely cause that, she said it would create ‘a huge amount of difficulties’.
With three and a half months to go before the UK official leaves the EU Minister Humphreys acknowledged that the border will be worst hit by a no deal and a free trade agreement is the preferred option.
