Meat factories in Cavan and Monaghan say they continue to monitor the spread of Covid-19 in the community.
No virus outbreaks were reported at Carton Brothers in Shercock or ABP Clones in December.
Liffey Meats did not respond when contacted by Northern Sound News.
Concern had been raised prior to Christmas that processing plants that saw the spread of the virus during the first wave could be vulnerable during winter months.
A spokesperson from Carton Brothers said there was no outbreak associated with the company last month, but management continues to monitor the community spread and work closely with the HSE.
An ABP spokesperson added that they continue to "remain vigilant" despite not having a recent outbreak.
