Local volunteer groups are being encouraged to apply for CMETB funding.
Applications for The Local Youth Club Grant Scheme for 2024 is open until next Friday.
Cllr Colm Carthy has been the Chairperson of the Cavan-Monaghan Youth Services committee for a number of years now and he says the highlight of the year for our committee is when he gets to present Youth Clubs with annual funding. He says each year, groups from around both counties receive monies to help with their running costs and to see what this funding does would warm the heart of anyone.
Most eligible groups will be notified directly but if you think your group should be considered for funding you can contact with Youth Services team in either Cavan or Monaghan. Cllr Carthy is encouraging any groups that may be interested to get their application in for this funding initiative.
