Members of Oldcastle and Ballyjamesduff cycling clubs completed 500km over a 48 hour period in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Ireland over the weekend.
The group departed Laytown in County Meath on the first day of the cycle and travelled 250kms to Lahinch in County Clare.
Day two seen the group of 10 travel form The Cliffs of Moher back to Oldcastle.
Castlerahan native Angela Dowd Brady is the organiser of the cycle and she said she felt compelled to complete the mammoth cycling event due to a family member being diagnosed with the disease.
The Cavan woman says it's a charity that's very close to her heart.
25,000 has already been raised from the 500 km cycle and other fundraisers that was organised.
Angela says it was a difficult 500 km cycle but knowing she was raising funds for such a great cause made it all worth while
