A local Green Party rep has backed government plans for the re-opening of indoor dining but says the authorities need to be mindful of the Delta variant.
New legislation that would allow fully vaccinated people or those who've recovered from Covid to dine indoors will go before the Seanad later today.
However, it comes amid a NPHET warning that the country is still three or four weeks away from the peak of the Delta wave.
