A local GP is assuring people referred for a PCR test that they will receive word by text.
Monaghan doctor Ilona Duffy says people are concerned about the delays and backlog within the system, but to exercise patience because they will be contacted.
She is reminding people the isolation period begins the day symptoms start or from the day of a positive antigen test, regardless of whether a PCR test has been carried out.
