Gardaí in Cavan and Monaghan are encouraging locals impacted by Storm Éowyn to reach out for help. Garda Tracy Donaghy of Carrickmacross Garda Station says it's important for people to know that members of An Garda Siochana are always on hand to give assistance.
Garda Donaghy said that Gardaí are "acutely aware" that many from across the local region were and continue to be "hugely impacted" by the storm. Speaking to Northern Sound, she outlined the importance of looking after those who are isolated or vulnerable in your area:
