Monaghan Gardaí have issued an appeal in relation to the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body a man in an apartment at the Diamond in Clones on the 1st of June last.
The results of a post mortem was not released for operational reasons. The body of Mykola Dernovi who was aged in his 40s was found at a residence in the Diamond area of the town.
Local Gardai continue to appeal to anyone with any information on this incident or an alleged assault on the deceased to contact investigating Gardaí at Clones Garda station 047 51025, the Garda Confidential Phone number 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station. Garda Tracy Donahoe from Monaghan Garda station issued this appeal earlier today.
