Local Gardaí have been involved in an operation that led to the recovery of four puppies stolen in Galway.
The four foxhound puppies were stolen in Craughwell on June 21st.
They were among a number of dogs discovered during a search at Belfast Harbour later that week.
Gardaí in Co Galway recovered 4 fox hound pups which were stolen from Craughwell on June 21 last. The puppies were recovered in Belfast Harbour as part of a multiagency cross-border operation.

The four week old puppies have since been identified and reunited with their mother
Gardaí in Monaghan, Clones and Bailieborough were among those involved in the investigation, which also included the Belfast Harbour Police, ISPCA and Belfast City Council.
Gardaí have urged dog owners to make sure their pets are microchipped and have encouraged the owners of “high-value” breeds to invest in CCTV.
