Cavan’s Joe O’Reilly said he’s in favour of it being introduced, saying there’s public outcry for the measures to be put in place.
The Cabinet is expected to sign off on legislation next week which would force people coming into Ireland from a number of listed countries to spend two weeks in a designated hotel.
Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show, Joe O’Reilly said it’s disappointing that people choose to travel abroad for holidays, but that quarantine isn’t the solution people think it is.
