Local finalists announced for Irish Wedding Awards

The Irish Wedding Awards 2025 aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding industry that work towards making the big day as perfect as possible.

A number of businesses from the Northern Sound region have made it to the finals of ‘The Irish Wedding Awards’. The black-tie ceremony which takes place in January 2025 recognises top specialists and establishments that have gone above and beyond in the sector will gather to celebrate their achievements. D’s Cakes in Monaghan is a finalist in both the ‘Cake Designer of the Year’ category and is also in the running for the ‘Couples Choice Award’.

Claire Does Cake (Monaghan) was also named as a finalist in the  ‘Cake Designer of the Year’ category. Staying in the Farney region, The Petal Plot (Monaghan) is a finalists for ‘Florist of the Year as well as Bouquets2Banquets which is based in (Belturbet). J’adore Hair and Beauty (Monaghan) is in the running for ‘Hair and Makeup Specialists of the Year’ while – Amsha Bridal (Crossdoney) was announced as a finalist for ‘Wedding Boutique of the Year.’

Edel Hennessy Hair (Cavan) was also announced as a finalist for 'Freelance Wedding Hair / Make Up Specialist of the Year' and Cavan Crystal Hotel (Cavan) is in the running for 'Wedding Venue of the Year'. Howell Jewellers (Carrickmacross ) is up for 'Jewellers of the Year' while Brendan McCahey Band (Shercock) is in the running for 'Wedding Band of the Year'.
