A local director and film producer says she is looking forward to bringing more of her work to Monaghan in the year ahead.
Táine King has had an extraordinary year following the success of her short film 'The Wilde Sisters.'
Based on a true story and filmed in Co Monaghan, 'The Wilde Sisters' gained recognition right across the globe in 2024.
The short film was not only screened at the Irish Embassy in Oslo in December but won an honourable mention award for outstanding film making at the New York Shorts International Film Festival.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Táine said she is "overwhelmed" with the support she has received.
Táine added that she is "looking forward" to bringing more of her projects to Monaghan in the New Year and showcasing what the Farney county has to offer to a global audience:
