A local family resource centre has been told "it's high time to get their act together" regarding disabled parking provision.
Jimmy Mee says there is no allocated disabled parking at Teach na Daoine in Monaghan and that the centre has used cones instead to provide disabled access.
However, Jimmy told Northern Sound that these cones weren't available the last time his 95-year-old relative attended the centre for bingo.
In a statement to Northern Sound, Teach na Daoine said it wasn't aware of any issues with providing cones for disabled access.
Teach na Daoine added that it's in the process of hiring a van for line marking disabled bays and two will be provided in the coming weeks.
