A local sustainability group is encouraging people to spend an hour doing something constructive or creative in their locality to celebrate Earth Day tomorrow.
The theme of this year's Earth Day is 'Restore Our Earth', which focuses on how innovative thinking can help restore the world's ecosystems.
However, Transition Monaghan is asking people to stay local by doing something fun and "earth-friendly", such as litter-picking, planting something native, or challenging yourself by going a day without electricity.
