Female entrepreneurs across the Northern Sound region have been encouraged to apply for a programme that supports female entrepreneurs in rural Ireland.
The application portal for the latest ACORNS cycle has opened, and 50 women in rural locations will be chosen for the initiative to support new rural businesses.
Applications for the programme is open until Friday, September 10th.
Applicants should either have set up a new business that has generated sales no earlier than January 1st, 2019, or be actively planning a new venture and have made progress towards this.
Kasia O'Reilly, of Sana Naturals in Cavan, is a past participant and says "ACORNS held me accountable and opened up my network".
She says programme has been "invaluable" to her business:
