Work is ongoing to move a local Down Syndrome centre to a larger premises.
Since opening in Carrickmacross in 2018, the Down Syndrome Centre North East has been constantly expanding services and now caters for over 70 families.
At a recent visit, Minister Anne Rabbitte said the centre will be used as a template to provide "bespoke services" for children with additional needs around Ireland.

Chairperson of the group Martin McBreen says its continued success means they need to look at expanding their site.
