Three Cavan county councillors are travelling to New York to take part in this year's St Patrick's Day festivities, with the chief executive of the local authority also part of the delegations.
Those travelling to New York from 14th to 18th March are the Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Philip Brady, Cllr Shane P O'Reilly and Cllr Sarah O'Reilly.
The council funded delegation also includes Eoin Doyle the chief executive of Cavan County Council and during the visit the delegation will engage with members of the Cavan Diaspora and various tourism and business interests to promote Cavan as a destination to live, work, visit and do business in.
While in Monaghan, Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council David Maxwell and Chief Executive of the local authority Robert Burns will also be travelling to New York for St Patrick's Day.
