A local creche owner says she will be highlighting issues around staffing when she addresses an Oireachtas Covid-19 Committee this afternoon.
Paula Donohue, owner of Clever Clogs Childcare in Ballyconnell and a member of the Association of Childcare Professionals, says there is a staff retention issue due to the low wages across the sector.
Many creches are set to re-open from June 29th, with funding of 75 million euro being provided by government to help with that.
