Neighbours from hell need to be dealt with by Monaghan County Council at all times. That’s according to Sinn Fein's Noel Keelan, who was speaking following the local authority revealing that they have recorded 17 breaches of tenancy cases in the county.
The local councillor says anti-social behaviour must be dealt with very strongly by the council to ensure people are not creating nightmare situations for neighbours.
Monaghan County Council have issued 17 breaches of tenancy cases in the county so far this year up until the 11th of April.
One of the breaches was for drug activity under anti social behaviour, three for non drug related anti-social behaviour and one dwelling was repossessed.
Others were for first formal warnings, statutory warnings served and others went under the category breaches to tenancy agreement.
