Local council director to take up new role

Tributes were paid at a recent meeting of Monaghan County Council after it was revealed that Director of Services, Nuala Woods would be leaving her position at the local authority. Ms Woods will be taking up a senior national position at Uisce Éireann.

Speaking at the recent meeting, Chief Executive of Monaghan County Council, Patricia Monahan congratulated her on attaining the post. She added that Nuala will be a "massive loss" to the Co Council, after all she has achieved in her career at the local authority.
