Local construction group up for national award

A well-known Monaghan company will be recognised at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards. Local construction company 'McGuigan Builders' has been at the heart of the local community for over 40 years.

Speaking to Northern Sound, Padraig McGuigan highlighted his excitement prior to the national awards ceremony which will take place at the Dublin Convention Centre later tonight.

The local company will attend tonight's event as a finalist in the 'residential' category for its work on the 1-8 Hillside Monaghan project.
