A local Senator has written to the Minister for Education to highlight concerns raised in relation to the Leaving Cert maths.

While Monday's maths paper two exam was generally well-received where the opposite could be said about paper one.
Local Senator Robbie Gallagher has raised the issue in the Seanad yesterday, the chief whip said he has also sent a letter to Norma Foley in relation to this matter.
Senator Gallagher says he has received calls from students across the region highlighting their frustration over the exam.
