The Bailieborough community is welcoming the news that the future of the local Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre has been secured.
It was announced this morning that an estimated €100,000 will be drawn down from the Covid-19 stability fund for the pool.
The money will ensure the Board of Management can start to plan for the reopening of the centre.
Concern had been raised in the early stages of the pandemic as to whether it would have reopened if it wasn't for additional supports.
Chair of the Board, Paul McFadden said the news is being welcomed throughout the community.
